I bought my Helios because I looked for something to use in our family camping weekends. I wanted something to cook with that, on the one hand, will enable me to cook for the whole family and on the other hand, will be safe enough (We got two little kids running around). I read a lot on the web looking for the right solution and came up with the Helios, mainly because of its pot's sizes, see-through wind shield and due to its stability.
So far, I'm pretty satisfied with it. I got the version that comes with two pots, the 2 liters and the 3 liters. It came out very handy. It runs well and cooks nicely although you can forget about controlling the flames... It is either running in full capacity or not running at all...
Another thing I must add is that it handles wind quite good. I got to use it in few windy occasions, and it did just fine. Although it might be a nag to assemble the thing, the plastic shield does its thing in holding the wind away.
Which remind me... Assembling it takes a minute. My son loves it because it’s a nice challenge for him, but it can be a nag if you are in a rash, for some reason.
I’d say that these are the good things: Handles wind well, got big pots, stable.
The bad things I must mention: no flame control what so ever.
I also read on some reviews that folks had issues with the igniter. Didn’t happen on the one I bought.
