Coleman F1 Ultralight Stove is the lightest coleman propane stove. I got to use it for some time. It's as small as it gets and really lightweight.
Coleman F1 It weighs something like 3oz, which is really the minimum for gas stoves. I used it only to boil water and it boils water in no time. Apart from that, the flame diameter is good enough for cooking. It simmers real nice too. So I'm pretty sure you can use it for cooking all kinds of stuff.
What I like the most about it, is that you can easily hide it under a standard gas canister. Also, I love its performance. It's amazing how strong it is. On the other hand, it takes a minute to assemble it, which can be a bit of a nag. You have to screw the burner in place and to fan the three potholders.
Here is what I
like and dislike about it. What I mention here is
comparing to other canister stoves.
Comparing Ultralight canister stovesColeman F1 Ultralight Stove Vs MSR pocket rocket Vs Optimus cruxHere is a small comparison between three ultralight gas stoves. Yes, I know, there are also the Snow Peak LiteMax (2oz), the Soto Micro Regulator (2.6oz) and others. I simply have less experience with them so I stick with those I konw the best.
